Eclipse label equipment is a British engineering company with a proud heritage in digital print.
Founded in 1995, we are a family run organisation, who are small enough to treat customers as individuals, but with the technological expertise of a larger organisation. In 2010 we saw an opportunity to develop a range of label finishing machines. Capitalising on our inhouse R&D facilities at our head office in Nottinghamshire “just a short drive from the world-renowned Robin Hoods Major Oak”. We spent a further two years perfecting the required engineering technology to create our first label finisher, which we called the LF3 – marketed under the Eclipse Brand.
Fast forward to 2020, we have developed a wider range of Eclipse label equipment, with models covering the full spectrum of label finishing requirements. There are now several models in the Eclipse portfolio including: the LF3, the LF350s, the Eclipse mini, the Eclipse mini +. As the label industry requirements change, we will continually evolve the Eclipse production range.
Digital label printing systems are nothing new in the marketplace, in fact many producers from around the world have been offering various automated machines into the trade printing industry for some years, These bulky industrial printers and their supported technologies occupy large floorspace and carry high price tags. However, Eclipse machines are the world’s first high-speed, narrow web finishing equipment creating new sectors into the label industry. A key part of its success is the ease of implementation and quality performance embedded into a compact footprint. Typically label application including: Food & Beverage, Wine & Spirits, Health and Beauty are all segments amongst the many that require high product decoration, shelf appeal and product information. Now more than ever, organisations around the world have a responsibility to inform customers about the products we buy.
The Eclipse label finishing machines are fast and adaptable to changeable market data and product information. From a wholesale point of view, printed labels with Bar-coding, manufactured licences allow, track and trace of products around the globe, a standard prerequisite for obtaining orders and ordering and an important element in many supply chains which are supported by cross-sector assessments by stakeholders with complex value chains. With all these advantages, Eclipse label finishing equipment has attracted interest worldwide.
Capitalising on our Made in Britain award (2015) we are proud to have placed our Eclipse label finishing equipment into every single continent. To date we have established over 500 machines into the marketplace globally with plans to increase numbers tenfold over the next five years.
